01What do you attribute your success to?
I would contribute my success to never giving up, no matter how hard life gets. God has picked me up time and time again, in order to place me exactly where I am now.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is from my favorite manager "Sheraine Blanton". She always told me "if you have to change who you are for a position, it isn't where you're meant to be."
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Ladies please, please, please BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! Don't be scared to use your voice and speak for not only yourself, but for your team as well. Build a strong internal foundation and lean on those who have your genuine best interest at heart. Showcase your abilities, keep your life balanced, and make sure you love what you do!
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in the tech industry right now are of course AI being integrated into everything. It is amazing if used for the right purposes, but it can be a bit of a headache to make sure it doesn't erase actual human jobs and to tweak it for every business sector.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My most important values are integrity, balance, and keeping your mental health in order over everything.
