Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kelli

01What do you attribute your success to?

I think it's a combination of things. It's really focused on focus, working hard, surrounding yourself with good people, having a good support network, people you can bounce ideas off of. I also like to mentor other people, which gives back as well. As much as you give to someone else, you gain. Hard work and determination, and never giving up, I think, is really important.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Oh, I think it's also, don't underestimate yourself.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Focusing on your network to really help give you the confidence to grow. And I always tell people to aim high. Don't underestimate themselves. And if you're a hard worker and never give up, you can achieve your goals.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

In healthcare, there are a lot of rules and regulations, and the industry tends to be a slow mover when it comes to adopting new technologies, and so that holds back the ability for change. But now we're seeing an awful lot of opportunity with AI and automation technology. AI is a huge opportunity, the ability to do transformational programs, cloud, and any kind of automation, system automation to make people more efficient, and give them the opportunity to work at the top of their license.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I really believe in honesty and integrity. Inclusiveness is important to me, and the spirit of collaboration.
