Her Interview
Ten minutes with Kelli
01What do you attribute your success to?
I think there's quite a few aspects. I think I'm a very determined individual, but I also think that my parents set a great example for me. And then even as I've gone into my career, the people who have been just kind of walking by my side, my boss included, encouraging me and giving me the freedom to do certain things. I think those three things have really made a real impact on my career.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I think the biggest piece of advice is to just follow your heart and your passion. I think it's really important to be passionate about what you do. At a young age I told myself I wouldn't do something I didn't enjoy doing. So I think that's probably the biggest piece of advice I'd give. Do what you love.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I think the biggest thing for me is community. I value community a lot, but then also just being able to connect with the people around me, and then also just kind of building up the youth and having a positive impact on everything. Those are my three.
