About Kelli
She is a dedicated educational leader with over a decade of experience in school administration, special education, and instructional leadership within Chicago Public Schools. Currently serving as Principal at Ella Flagg Young Elementary School, she leads school operations, instructional strategy, and community engagement to create an inclusive and high-achieving learning environment. Prior to this role, she served as Assistant Principal at Ariel Community Academy, where she transformed school culture, improved attendance, enhanced instructional rigor, and fostered family and community engagement to promote equity and social-emotional growth for all learners. She also served as a Special Education Administrator for CPS, where she developed deep expertise in special education policy, case management, and student support. She holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education and a Master's degree in Special Education from National Louis University, both with 4.0 GPAs. She is recognized as a visionary, equity-driven, and student-centered leader who is deeply committed to creating inclusive school environments where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
