About Kelly
I started out as a food and nutrition worker at Johnson County DSS and progressed into social work and Adult Protective Services during the time of the DOJ settlements and the rise of the opioid epidemic. I provided wraparound services including housing support. In 2020 I launched my consulting business helping nonprofits and ministries secure funding through community block grants, opioid settlements, and ARPA. I assisted the Boys and Girls Club of Johnston County with grants to build a new million-dollar facility after Hurricane Matthew damage. I also consult with Hope Center Ministries across 13 states on building recovery campuses and homes that support year-long programs including vocational training and family reunification.
