Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kelly

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my caring nature, empathy, and genuine commitment to helping others. I remain deeply invested in the people I serve, often thinking about my clients beyond the workday and considering how I can best support their needs. By meeting people where they are, understanding their unique circumstances, and providing thoughtful guidance, I strive to help them make informed decisions and achieve the best possible outcomes. My dedication to serving others with compassion, integrity, and care has been the foundation of my professional success.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is to be willing to take the leap, embrace new challenges, and figure things out along the way. Growth often comes from stepping outside of your comfort zone and having the confidence to learn through experience. I also believe it is important to pursue work that you truly love, because when you are passionate about helping others, it does not feel like a job—it becomes a meaningful purpose. Finding fulfillment in serving others has been a driving force throughout my career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to build strong relationships and embrace the power of networking. Connect with as many people as possible through professional events, your personal network, and everyday interactions, and share your expertise and goals with others. Do not be afraid to explore specialized areas, take on new challenges, and seek guidance from those with more experience. Leverage available resources, learn from others, and remember that success is built through collaboration and support. We are all in this together, and by helping one another grow, we create stronger opportunities for everyone.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is helping clients stay motivated and engaged when they become overwhelmed by their circumstances. Many people reach a point where they feel exhausted by the process and are tempted to accept less than they deserve simply because they are tired of the struggle. It can be challenging when I know there are opportunities to provide support and achieve a better outcome, but the client is no longer willing or able to continue. This reinforces the importance of providing guidance, encouragement, and support early on so clients feel empowered to make informed decisions throughout the process.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are faith, honesty, integrity, and hard work. I believe that God places us exactly where we are meant to be and that living with purpose and intention guides us toward the right opportunities. I strive to always do the right things for the right reasons, treat others with honesty and compassion, and remain committed to helping those around me. I believe that when you genuinely care about serving others and making a positive impact, success naturally follows.
