Kelly Gurney

I am an education professional with over two decades of experience in student information systems, program coordination, and educational support, currently serving as Coordinator for Student Information at Horry County Schools, a role I have held since September 2017, where I manage student information systems and support data-driven decision-making across the district. I have also served as Program Specialist at Horry County Schools since October 1999, now for over twenty-six years, where I have contributed to program development and student support initiatives.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the State University of New York at Fredonia.

Across my career in education and student information management, my work has been driven by a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and supporting student success through effective data management and program coordination. Whether I am managing student information systems, supporting program development, or collaborating with educators and administrators, I bring a detail-oriented, collaborative, and service-oriented approach that has made a lasting impact on the students and schools I serve. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue supporting student success at Horry County Schools.
