Her Story

About Kelly

Kelly D. Hall is a Real Estate New Home Sales Consultant with Legend Homes in Crowley, Texas, bringing more than two decades of experience in property management and real estate. Her career began in property management, where she advanced through a variety of roles, including Leasing Consultant, Leasing Manager, Assistant Community Manager, Community Manager, Area Manager, and Front Office Administrator. Her experience spans student living and commercial properties, including her work in Portage, Indiana, before relocating to Texas. In May, she transitioned to the builder side of the industry, where she now helps prospective homeowners navigate the new home buying process, including incentives, monthly payments, pre-approval, and closing. Throughout her career, Kelly has demonstrated strong leadership, determination, and a commitment to delivering results. She was recognized by Best Rate Business for successfully transforming a Class C property to 95% occupancy, earning recognition as the best-performing property in its ZIP code. Since entering new home sales, she has quickly established herself in her role and has already helped seven buyers purchase new homes. Kelly attributes her success to faith, family, hard work, and purpose, with her journey as a mother of three daughters serving as a powerful source of motivation to lead by example and encourage them to pursue their dreams. Kelly’s commitment to personal and professional growth is reflected in her continued education. After earning her high school diploma, she completed nearly two years of finance studies at DeVry University and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Tarleton State University. She also holds a leasing certificate from the State of Indiana, earned more than 20 years ago. Beyond her professional pursuits, Kelly is passionate about faith, family, and service and remains involved in church ministry through New Beginnings in Chicago, which she currently attends online. Looking ahead, she is preparing to launch a new business, an entrepreneurial venture designed to inspire professionals in the real estate industry to put God first while pursuing their careers and personal goals.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kelly

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to faith, family, hard work, and purpose. My journey was shaped by the “school of hard knocks,” where I learned the value of perseverance, resilience, and staying committed to my goals. I believe my story is a reflection of what can happen when faith meets hard work and determination. As a mother of three daughters, I have been especially motivated to lead by example and show them that they should never give up on their dreams, no matter the challenges they may face.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is to lead with faith and trust God throughout every step of my journey. I have always lived by faith, and with God by my side, I have remained confident in pursuing my goals and embracing new opportunities. This perspective has inspired my entrepreneurial venture, Kingdom Keys, which encourages professionals in the real estate industry to put God first in both their personal and professional lives. I am also exploring opportunities to establish a presence in a salon suite, continuing to build and expand my entrepreneurial journey with purpose and faith at the center.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to work hard, remain committed to your purpose, and never lose sight of your faith. With faith the size of a mustard seed, a strong work ethic, and the support of family, you can overcome challenges and continue moving forward. Most importantly, put God first, trust the process, and remain consistent in pursuing your goals. When you lead with faith, purpose, and perseverance, you can watch your career grow, flourish, and create opportunities beyond what you may have initially imagined.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is the ability to build something meaningful and purpose-driven as I prepare to launch my brand, Kingdom Keys. I see this as an opportunity to bring faith and real estate together by inspiring others in the industry to put God first while pursuing their professional goals. As I step into this new entrepreneurial chapter, I am excited to grow the brand, connect with like-minded professionals, and create a platform that encourages others to lead with faith, purpose, and excellence.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are faith, family, perseverance, service, integrity, and lifelong learning. I believe in sharing my story and giving God the glory for every opportunity and achievement throughout my journey. As a single mother of three daughters, I have been motivated to lead by example and show them the importance of resilience, hard work, education, and pursuing their dreams. My educational journey began with a high school diploma, continued with nearly two years of study toward a finance degree at DeVry University, and now includes my pursuit of a bachelor’s degree at Tarleton State University. I am deeply grateful for the women who have influenced my life, particularly my grandmother, Cozetta, who served as a mentor and helped shape my journey from Chicago through various locations to Texas, and my mother, Trina, who encouraged me to strive for more and become better than those who came before me. Giving back is also important to me through my church volunteer work and my connection with New Beginnings in Chicago, which I currently attend online. From earning my leasing certificate through the State of Indiana more than 20 years ago to pursuing new entrepreneurial opportunities today, I credit my growth and success to divine guidance, faith, perseverance, and the desire to positively impact others.
