My work is rooted in service, compassion, and the belief that everyone deserves to be seen and supported. I lead community outreach efforts that respond to addiction, crisis, and unmet needs with dignity and care. With the lived experience of the loss of a loved one to a heroin overdose, my work is very personal and close to my heart.

01What do you attribute your success to?

My success comes from faith, resilience shaped by lived experience, and a willingness to show up for others even when the work is hard.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

To not pay attention to others and what they're doing. To stay consistent and reliable, work hard, and show up for yourself.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Do your homework. I organically evolved over time. If you know what you want, get paperwork handled legally first. Build relationships, partner with like minded or related non-profits in your area. Their experience and expertise will help you. Keep going. Find the strength to keep pushing through even when things seem unclear or unfamiliar. Don't allow anyone or anything to distract you. Even if you fail use it as a learning lesson, and keep going!

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Funding. Getting the foot in the door.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, honesty, loyalty, and respect.
