Kelly Masten

Kelly Masten has been in the technology industry for about seven years. Prior to that, she worked in the banking industry for 14 years. Her transition to tech occurred after moving to Arizona to support family needs, at a time when her bank employer was in a hiring freeze. She leveraged her existing leadership skills to enter the new field. Masten earned her Bachelor's of Science degree from Arizona State University in 2008 and has taken additional online leadership courses. In her current role, she works from home analyzing reports to guide daily focus, conducting one-on-ones with her team, handling escalations, and leading projects to enhance the business. She describes the tech environment as scrappy and fast-paced compared to corporate banking, which she has come to enjoy. Masten places high importance on ethics and integrity and adopts a people-first philosophy, getting to know team members' strengths and needs to build well-rounded, supported teams. She has highlighted Rina VonFrisch as a key mentor from her career.
