Her Story

About Kelly

Kelly Milukas is a transformational artist, instructor, and creative leader whose career bridges fine arts, science, and organizational leadership. With a foundation in sculpture and multidisciplinary visual arts, she has built an international practice spanning encaustic painting, photography, sculpture, and collaborative arts programming. Her work is widely recognized for integrating art with science, particularly in regenerative medicine and neuroscience communication.

She is the founder of Imagination Collaboration LLC, where she develops arts-based workshops, corporate programs, and immersive creative experiences that translate complex scientific and cultural concepts into visual storytelling. Her career also includes over 25 years in the entertainment industry, where she served in senior leadership roles managing large-scale live event programming across major venues.

In addition to her studio and consulting work, Kelly is a dedicated educator, mentor, and community leader. She has founded and led multiple arts organizations, including South Coast Artists Inc., and has served as President of the Providence Art Club. She continues to advance heart-centered creativity through retreats, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration between artists, scientists, and communities.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kelly

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my endless curiosity and my constant need to keep learning. I have always believed that when you remain a lifelong student, inspiration and mentorship can come from everywhere around you. This mindset has allowed me to grow across art, leadership, and science collaborations throughout my career.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is: never say no to a child and embrace the messy middle of the journey. I’ve learned that intention and openness during uncertain stages of the creative process are what shape meaningful outcomes.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice is to trust heart-centered creativity. We are in a time where creativity is essential to human well-being and understanding. Lead with your heart, stay connected to your inner voice, and allow your creative expression to guide your path.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest opportunity in my field is the growing recognition of the connection between heart-mind resonance and creative expression. The biggest challenge, especially as an independent artist and entrepreneur, is balancing time across administration, teaching, communication, and maintaining a consistent creative practice.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Living heart-centered is the most important value in my life and work. I believe that light and intentionality shape how we tell stories, create meaning, and navigate personal growth. Bringing light into my work and relationships is central to everything I do.
