Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to staying adaptable, being relentlessly resourceful, and always leading with both strategy and heart. Throughout my career, I’ve learned how to anticipate needs, build scalable systems, and create order in fast-moving environments while maintaining strong relationships and trust with leadership teams.

I also believe a big part of my success comes from being willing to evolve. As technology and AI began transforming the workplace, I leaned into learning, experimenting, and teaching others how to use these tools strategically rather than fear them. That mindset ultimately led me to create MonetizeU AI, where I now help Administrative Professionals future-proof their careers and step into more strategic roles.

Most importantly, I’ve always believed that behind every successful executive or organization is someone building the systems, structure, and operational foundation that keeps everything moving forward. I take pride in being that person.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the best pieces of career advice I’ve ever received was: “Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and know your worth.”

Early in my career, I believed hard work alone would speak for itself. Over time, I learned that confidence, visibility, and self-advocacy matter just as much. Knowing your worth is not arrogance. It’s understanding the value you bring to the table and being willing to speak about it with confidence.

Some of the biggest opportunities in my career happened because I was willing to step outside my comfort zone, take risks, share my ideas, and trust that I belonged in the room. Whether it was stepping into leadership roles, writing a book, or building MonetizeU AI, growth came from being willing to put myself out there.

“You cannot expect others to recognize your value if you are unwilling to recognize it yourself.”

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

One piece of advice I would give to young women entering this industry is: don’t be intimidated by others. Stand tall, be proud of who you are, and never be afraid to use your voice because your opinion matters.

Early in your career, it’s easy to feel like you need to stay quiet or wait until you have the “perfect” title or experience level before contributing ideas. But some of the best insights often come from the people closest to the day-to-day operations of a business.

Confidence is not about knowing everything. It’s about trusting that your perspective and experiences bring value. There will be moments where people underestimate you or make you question whether you belong in the room. Speak up anyway. Ask the question. Share the idea.

I also encourage young women to embrace growth, especially with technology and AI. The professionals who continue learning and adapting will create incredible opportunities for themselves. Most importantly, remember that your role is never “just support.” Strong operational professionals help organizations move forward and become trusted strategic partners to leadership.

“Confidence is not about being the loudest person in the room. It’s about knowing your value even when no one else says it first.”

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities I see right now is helping Administrative Professionals learn AI skills and recognize how valuable they truly are in today’s workforce. For years, admins have been viewed as support staff, but in reality they are often the operational backbone of organizations. AI is giving administrative professionals the opportunity to move from reactive task management into more strategic roles.

The professionals who learn how to use AI effectively will stand out. From calendar management and workflow automation to executive briefings and communication, AI helps admins work faster, smarter, and more strategically.

That’s one of the reasons I created MonetizeU AI. I saw a strong need for practical, hands-on AI education designed specifically for Administrative Professionals. My goal is to provide real-time guidance, community support, and live learning experiences that help people build confidence and prepare for the future of work.

The workplace is evolving quickly, and the professionals who are willing to adapt and continue learning will create incredible opportunities for themselves. My mission is to help Administrative Professionals feel prepared for that future, not fearful of it.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

One of the most important values to me, both professionally and personally, is resourcefulness. I’ve always believed that “I don’t know” should never be the end of the conversation — especially in the world of executive operations and administrative leadership. Instead, I believe in saying, “Let me look into that,” “Let me better understand it,” or “I’ll find the answer and get back to you.”

Throughout my career, I’ve built my reputation on being someone who is willing to jump in, figure things out, solve problems, and create solutions even in unfamiliar situations. I believe growth comes from curiosity, adaptability, and the willingness to learn continuously. Technology, business, and leadership are always evolving, and I think one of the most valuable traits a person can have is the ability to remain open, flexible, and solution-oriented.

Another value that is deeply important to me is empowering others and creating meaningful community. That belief is actually one of the driving forces behind why I founded MonetizeU AI. I wanted to create a space where Administrative Professionals feel supported, seen, and equipped with the tools and confidence to grow in their careers and embrace AI in a practical, approachable way.

On a personal level, I’ve also learned the importance of being present for the people who matter most. I moved back to New England from Las Vegas because I realized that success is not just about work, achievement, or sending money home — it’s about creating memories, being physically present, and showing up for the moments that truly matter. I wanted to be there for my grandchildren’s lives, their birthdays, and the everyday experiences that you can’t get back once they pass.

That same philosophy carries into my work and teaching style. I believe people deserve real support, real connection, and hands-on guidance. That’s why I show up live for my students multiple times a week, teaching face-to-face and walking alongside them as they learn. For me, leadership is not just about providing information — it’s about being present, building trust, and helping others believe in what they’re capable of becoming.
