Kelly Ortega, MBA/MSL, is a seasoned quality management professional with over 15 years of experience in the healthcare and life sciences industries. Currently serving as a Quality Manager at Nestlé Health Science, Kelly has played a pivotal role in supporting the growth of VOWST, the first FDA-approved oral microbiome therapy. Her career reflects a consistent dedication to quality systems, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence, with leadership roles at organizations such as Seres Therapeutics and CSL Plasma. Kelly is particularly skilled in deviation management, CAPA, batch release, and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.

With dual master’s degrees in Business Administration and Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University—where she was inducted into the Delta Mu Delta Honors Society—Kelly combines strategic vision with hands-on expertise. Her leadership style is rooted in motivating teams to perform at their best while upholding the highest standards of product quality and patient safety.
