What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my adult ADHD, which I like to think of as a “superpower,” and to my belief that there’s nothing I can’t learn if I put my mind to it.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received came from my supervisor, Pradeep Macharla. He told me that others were only "scratching the surface" of my talent and encouraged me to earn Salesforce certifications through Trailhead—credentials that no one can ever take away.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I’d tell young women that now is the perfect time to enter the field. I recommend leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot to interview yourself, generate ideas, fill knowledge gaps, and even act as a mentor when one isn’t available.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Right now, the biggest challenges in my field stem from uncertainty in the professional association space—driven by economic shifts, industry consolidation (like our recent acquisition of Personify), and the unclear impact of AI on jobs and hiring. At the same time, these changes create opportunities to innovate, adapt, and shape the future of our industry.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are putting family first—work can wait—and taking care of the people I work with, including training, mentoring, and supporting their growth.
