About Kelsey

Kelsey Click serves as Enterprise Account Manager at Bentley Systems, a CAD software provider supporting infrastructure design and construction projects. She joined the company three and a half years ago after starting in software in 2020, following ten years as a special education teacher and a prior role as customer success manager. Kelsey holds a business degree and an MBA from Ole Miss. Her expertise centers on business strategy and portfolio development, where she helps clients build technology workflows and account plans. Beyond her role, she co-chairs the Global Women's employee resource group at Bentley and partners with the Eagles Autism Foundation to run All Abilities STEM clinics for neurodivergent youth in the Philadelphia area. She also supports Culture City in establishing sensory rooms and participates in Unite Ways Leadership of Chester County. Kelsey attributes her drive to her background as a collegiate athlete and her commitment to building networks of strong, competent women who balance professional leadership with personal life.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kelsey

01What do you attribute your success to?

I always look back at college and wonder what if I had switched to business sooner. I wanted to create the woman I was looking to meet, the village or board of advisors I didn't have in my 20s. I like challenges. I played collegiate sports. I like hard things because you feel confident when you do hard things and it helps reshape the narrative for women to build strong competent women that can be a mom and a baddie.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be comfortable being uncomfortable because that's where growth happens. Embody the person you want to be. Study CEOs and mirror their routines, how they dress and present themselves. Be camera ready. When something feels uncomfortable or scary, run faster to it. Make a decision and make it the right one. If you don't know, ask for help.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

In infrastructure, women are under 20% of the industry. Leadership paths feel hard to overcome especially without engineering background. You have to prove yourself more to earn a seat at the table. But it's also a superpower having a different brain than 80% of the industry. Men are allies and the difference makes us successful when we come together.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Women supporting women. We all need to be hype women because this life is hard without a sisterhood. Build a village and board of advisors. Be a conduit connecting people to make their dreams possible. Create strong competent women who can be moms and baddies.
