Her Interview
Ten minutes with Kelsey
01What do you attribute your success to?
My faith has pushed me through hard and easy times. I have a support group including a sister-in-law in the field. I am stubborn and refuse to give up on these kids. The impact we make at my company drives me every day.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never forget why we are here. Behind every number is a name. Growth always means increasing our capacity to serve.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
There is a deficit of foster parents in the nation. Not enough families for kids in care. We need more families to say yes.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
People first - accountability and showing up for kids, foster parents, and community. Connection. Impact - the work matters and I think about what impact I can make every day.
