Her Story

About Kendra

Kendra Beall is a sales leader, brand builder, and consumer packaged goods professional whose entrepreneurial mindset has shaped every stage of her career. Based in the Greater Houston area, Kendra grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, which inspired her to launch her first business—a spray tanning company—in her early twenties. Over the course of several years, she successfully scaled the business while developing a passion for autonomy, leadership, and relationship-building. Those early experiences taught her the importance of connecting with people, creating meaningful customer experiences, and building a business with intention. Her natural ability to lead and communicate eventually opened the door to the consumer packaged goods industry, where she discovered a love for sales, innovation, and bringing brands to life.

Now with nearly 11 years of experience in the CPG sector, Kendra currently works in key accounts for Tilray Brands, helping lead the company’s U.S. beer portfolio into major retail markets throughout Texas. Since joining the organization during the launch of its U.S. beer division, she has played a critical role in route-to-market strategy, distributor management, retail partnerships, and portfolio expansion with key accounts such as H-E-B. She thrives in the collaborative nature of the beverage industry, where product development, sales, logistics, and marketing all come together to create something consumers can enjoy. Prior to Tilray, Kendra held leadership positions across the beer industry, earning multiple honors including Manager of the Year awards and company leadership recognition. One of her proudest accomplishments came when she earned one of those awards while pregnant with her son, balancing motherhood and professional excellence simultaneously.

At the center of Kendra’s success is her passion for people. She believes the strongest part of the industry is the relationships built over time through collaboration, trust, and shared enthusiasm for the work. Known as a natural-born leader, she credits much of her career growth to staying focused on what she can control, maintaining a competitive spirit, and consistently showing up with energy and authenticity. Whether launching new brands, managing distribution strategy, or building partnerships across the retail landscape, Kendra approaches her work with enthusiasm and purpose. Guided by values of leadership, family, entrepreneurship, and connection, she continues to inspire others while helping shape the future of the evolving beverage and CPG industries.

Ten minutes with Kendra

01What do you attribute your success to?

For me, success has never just been about the numbers - it's about the people. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, I caught the business bug early, launching my own spray tanning business in my early twenties and scaling it over a couple of years. I met a ton of amazing people through that experience, and I've always just loved the autonomy of owning your own business and running your business the way that you want to. Connecting with people has always been really important and super critical when it comes to building business, and I loved talking with people and selling. That hunger to connect never left me. Now, 11 years into a dynamic career, I work on key accounts for Tilray Brands, helping launch their U.S. division and driving our portfolio within this major CPG company. I'm a natural-born leader everywhere I go, and I've earned Manager of the Year twice - once while pregnant with my son, which was probably my biggest accomplishment, growing a human and also being the best at what I do in my company. What fuels me most is collaborating with wonderful, great people to get things done. Everyone in our industry loves what they do, and it's very contagious - when you love what you do, it's really easy. I've been doing it a long time, so you come in contact with a lot of the same people over the years and you create a nice bond with people. When I'm not working, you'll find me at the beach - I grew up in South Texas so I'm a big beach girl - or skiing, doing stuff with my kids all the time, and cooking for my friends and family, which is one of my ways that I show love. For me, influence is personal, and it starts with genuine connection.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I think the biggest thing I've learned throughout my career is focusing on what you can control, right? There's gonna be a lot of aspects of your job and even in life that we just don't have our hands on that we can't control, and I think it's really easy to get caught up in that part. So if you can just focus on the things that you can control and do those things really well, that will take you a really long way.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Women in my industry are very underrepresented, and we don't see a lot of women in the C-suite space. So I think my ultimate long-term goal would be to get to that point. But also, raising a family, I think one of my other long-term goals is starting a consulting company - consulting for different startups and consulting for just kind of various aspects of the many, many steps you need to create brands and launch brands and deal with wholesalers and consumers and retailers and things like that. I've worked for several startups throughout my career, and I love that part. Sometimes those kind of businesses don't have tons of money to keep you on full-time, so if I could do some advising on the side for them, I think that's something that I'd be really interested in creating.
