Her Story
About Kendra
Lakendra Green began her career in the insurance industry in 2011 after a discussion with her aunt highlighted opportunities in the field. She started on the service side as an agent in Georgia, obtaining her producer license, and quickly moved into claims handling at GEICO, progressing from customer service claims representative to liability adjuster and then to handling injury claims from 2014 to 2021. During her time at GEICO, Green developed strong investigative and retention skills despite not holding a college degree, learning on the job and advancing through multiple promotions. After a period handling claims for financial institutions at Securian Financial, including unemployment, disability, and life claims, she joined a California-based company focused on long-term disability for the elderly. In October 2023, Green transitioned to the legal field, where she now specializes in personal injury claims, finding greater fulfillment in advocating for fair settlements for injured individuals. Throughout her career, she has emphasized empathy, clear communication, and attention to policy details, values reinforced by her volunteer work with United Way, feeding the homeless, and Special Olympics.
