About Kendra
She is a dedicated nonprofit leader, community advocate, and operations professional with over 18 years of experience in child welfare, community organizing, and program management. Currently serving as Director of Operations for the Black Liberation Alliance Movement, she provides strategic operational leadership and business planning. She also serves as Operations Officer at 3883 Media Group, overseeing day-to-day operations, vendor management, invoicing, and onboarding. Her career includes serving as Community Coordinator at Black Men Build, facilitating monthly women's circles and community outreach, and over a decade at Florida Foster Care Review as Program Manager, Review Specialist, and Quality Assurance Specialist, where she supervised teams, facilitated permanency roundtables, and supported child welfare best practices. She also served as Data Analyst and Case Manager at Neighbor To Family. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical and Medical Social Work from Florida International University, where she was a member of Phi Alpha Honor Society. She is recognized as a compassionate, strategic, and community-focused leader who is deeply committed to social justice, child welfare, and building strong, empowered communities.
