Her Story
About Kendra
Kendra Richards is a Los Angeles-based wellness coach and the founder of Herbal Harmony, a holistic wellness business dedicated to supporting women with PCOS through nutrition and lifestyle guidance. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA and began her professional career in the insurance industry, where she gained experience in sales, account support, and tax preparation. Although her business background provided valuable professional experience, Kendra ultimately recognized that commission-based insurance work was not fulfilling and felt inspired to pursue a career aligned more closely with her passion for health and wellness.
Motivated in part by her personal experience managing PCOS without synthetic medications, Kendra pursued certification in holistic nutrition and transitioned into health coaching. In February 2025, she launched Herbal Harmony to help women explore practical nutrition and lifestyle strategies that may support their overall well-being. In addition to developing her own business, she works part-time in coaching, digital operations, and customer experience for a certification organization, allowing her to continue expanding her expertise while building her entrepreneurial venture.
Kendra is passionate about increasing awareness of the role nutrition and lifestyle can play in supporting women with PCOS and hopes to collaborate with larger organizations to broaden access to education and wellness resources. She attributes her professional growth to taking calculated risks, trusting her instincts, and giving herself permission to evolve beyond familiar circumstances. Her approach is grounded in authenticity, compassion, self-awareness, and a strong mindset, values she strives to carry into both her professional work and personal life.

Ten minutes with Kendra
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my willingness to take calculated risks and trust my instincts. Throughout my career, I have learned to listen to my intuition, embrace opportunities outside of my comfort zone, and remain open to change and growth. Taking risks has allowed me to pursue a career aligned with my passions, while following my instincts has given me the confidence to make decisions that feel authentic to my goals and values.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the wellness industry is to never be afraid to outgrow the person or circumstances you are today. Give yourself permission to evolve, even when it means stepping away from what feels familiar or comfortable. Take a leap of faith, trust your instincts, and listen to your gut. Growth often requires courage, and embracing change can lead you toward opportunities that are more aligned with your purpose and potential.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are authenticity, compassion, and service. I believe in showing up genuinely, treating others with empathy and respect, and using my work to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. I also place a strong emphasis on self-awareness and mindset, because understanding myself, maintaining a growth-oriented perspective, and continually learning help me navigate challenges with intention and stay aligned with my purpose.
