About Kenzie

Kenzie Kattich is a Program Analyst and Program Management professional with more than nine years of experience supporting Department of Defense and United States Air Force organizations through program analysis, operational planning, compliance, executive support, and organizational improvement initiatives. As a USAF veteran and holder of an active Secret Clearance, she has built a career centered on mission readiness, security operations, and strategic execution within highly regulated defense environments. In her current role as a Senior Program Analyst with Credence, she supports Air Force sustainment programs by analyzing organizational performance, developing metrics and reports, and helping leaders make data-driven decisions to improve operational effectiveness.

Before transitioning into civilian program management, Kenzie served six years in the United States Air Force as a Security Forces professional, where she gained extensive experience in law enforcement, nuclear security, emergency operations, training, and mission-critical readiness. During her military career, she supervised personnel, managed security operations, trained hundreds of service members, supported presidential security efforts, and protected high-value national assets. Her ability to lead teams, manage risk, and execute complex operations has shaped her approach to problem-solving, leadership, and organizational excellence.

Beyond her professional achievements, Kenzie is a published author, mental health advocate, and graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University. She is the author of Strong & Still and Wounded & Loving, books focused on resilience, trauma recovery, leadership, and personal growth. She also serves as captain of the Ohio Warriors ice hockey team through the USA Hockey Warriors program and supports community initiatives through volunteer work and charitable giving. Guided by values of integrity, service, perseverance, and excellence, Kenzie continues to empower others while advancing mission-focused solutions in the defense and professional communities.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kenzie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my family. My parents, siblings, and grandmother instilled in me the values of determination, integrity, hard work, and putting people first—qualities that continue to guide me in everything I do.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is simple: get back up and keep going. I learned this early in my military career, and it became especially meaningful when I faced challenges that temporarily put my career on hold. That experience taught me the importance of resilience, perseverance, and continuing forward no matter the obstacles.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to believe in themselves and recognize their own potential. You are stronger and more capable than you realize, and the limits you see are often only the ones you place on yourself. Keep your head up, push forward, and have the confidence to exceed expectations.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I would say I faced was the stigma of being a woman in a male-dominant career field. Just because you see a team full of men and one or two females on there, and you instantly think that the females are the weak link.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me are integrity, service, and a commitment to serving others. I strive for greatness by holding myself to a high standard, pursuing excellence, and making a positive impact in everything I do.
