About Kerri
Kerri Bethune serves as a Senior Customer Success professional, where she manages a portfolio of accounts with a focus on account management and ensuring client satisfaction while recommending products to streamline their AR and AP workflows through payment processing and bill pay automation. With a background spanning 10 years in the FinTech space, including prior roles at American Express and PayPal, she previously worked as a key money specialist handling large accounts and channel partners for Intuit Enterprise Suite. Kerri earned her B.A. in Communication with a focus on strategic negotiations from Florida International University after two years at Tallahassee Community College, and she completed her MBA from the same university in 2020. She is a member of the National Sales Network New York and New Jersey chapter. Her success is attributed to balancing focus on small, medium, and large deals, which helped her exceed goals at American Express, reaching 150% in her first year and 125% in her second. Kerri values her faith, family, and friends above all, and she advises young women entering the industry to remain confident yet open to feedback, be honest and accountable, and know when to pivot if a workplace is not healthy.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Focusing equally on small, medium, and large deals rather than only the biggest ones, which helped accumulate to bigger achievements like exceeding goals at American Express.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Focus on small, medium, and large deals equally because at the end of the year it all accumulates to a bigger achievement. Give attention to everything, not just the one that will make the most money.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Always be confident in yourself but willing to be open for feedback. Know who you are, be honest with yourself, be accountable, and know how to pivot if a workplace isn't healthy for you.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
God first, then family, and friends. Faith is most important and trying to grow closer to God every day.
