Kerri Miller

CEO,Operations Manager & Systems Lead
KM Workflow Solutions LLC

I didn’t start my career as “the expert.”

I started as the person behind the scenes—the one organizing, fixing, managing, and holding everything together.

For years, I watched how businesses actually run. Not from the top—but from the inside.

I learned systems. I learned people. I learned where things break.

And, like many women, I did the work that kept everything moving… while someone else often got the credit.

But over time, that experience became something more.

I realized I wasn’t just “helping.”

I understood how businesses function at a level many people never see.

That’s what led me to build KM Workflow Solutions LLC.

Now, I help businesses create structure, eliminate chaos, and build systems that actually work—using both experience and modern automation.

More importantly, I want other women to understand this:

👉 The skills you’ve been told are “just support”… are often the foundation of leadership.

• Certificate of Training in Blood Stain Pattern Analysis

• University of Central Oklahoma - MA, Forensic Psychology

• Dean's Honor Roll

• Delta Epsilon Iota

• The 22q Family Foundation

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my parents. They taught me early on that life isn’t always easy, but if you keep going, you will get where you’re meant to be.

My mother showed me what it takes to keep pushing forward, continue her education, and build a career. My father showed me how to adapt and work no matter the situation.

We moved often, and life wasn’t always stable, but I learned not to wait for perfect conditions. You figure it out, you keep going, and you build from where you are.

That mindset is what took me from working behind the scenes to building something of my own.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Dress for the job you want, not the job you have.

That advice has stayed with me throughout my life. It’s not just about appearance—it’s about how you carry yourself, how you think, and how you show up.

For many women, we're placed in roles where we’re seen as support. But if you start seeing yourself differently—if you start thinking like the person who leads, builds, and decides—everything begins to shift.

Step into the role before anyone gives it to you.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Do not underestimate yourself.

Many women spend years doing the work that keeps everything running—but because it’s labeled as “support,” it’s overlooked.

Learn to recognize what you actually do.

Learn to speak to it.

And most importantly—learn to own it.

Because the ability to organize, fix, manage, and build systems is not small.

It’s leadership.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities right now is helping businesses move away from disorganized, manual processes and into structured, efficient systems.

There are a lot of companies operating with unnecessary chaos—things are being done the hard way simply because “that’s how it’s always been done.” At the same time, many people don’t realize how much can actually be improved.

For me, the opportunity is in bridging that gap.

After spending years behind the scenes, I understand where systems break, where time is lost, and where people are overwhelmed. Now, with automation and better tools available, those problems can be solved in ways they couldn’t before.

It’s not just about technology—it’s about understanding how the work really gets done, and building systems that support it.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Balance is one of the most important values in my life.

I believe you should have as much personal time as you have work time—sometimes
