Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to always advocate for myself. I’ve learned that clearly communicating my value, expressing my goals, and confidently standing up for my ideas not only opens doors to new opportunities but also fosters professional growth and meaningful recognition.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my field today is the rapid advancement of AI technology alongside a shortage of skilled talent. While AI offers the potential to streamline processes, enhance accuracy, and provide deeper insights in accounting and financial reporting, it also requires professionals to continuously upskill and adapt. At the same time, the limited availability of qualified talent creates both a challenge for organizations seeking expertise and an opportunity for those who can combine technical knowledge with strategic, people-focused leadership to drive meaningful impact.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are respect, integrity, and empathy. I strive to treat others with consideration and fairness, uphold honesty and ethical standards in every decision, and approach interactions with understanding and compassion. These principles guide how I lead, collaborate, and make an impact, ensuring that my professional achievements are aligned with meaningful, positive relationships and a strong sense of purpose.
