What do you attribute your success to?

I’ve been in the media industry for five years and currently serve as a Senior Digital Streaming Producer at a broadcast media company in Raleigh, while also operating my event décor business, Rosee Luxury Decor. My career began with a passion for storytelling and community engagement and has grown into leading and managing a digital team of five, working closely with executive producers and marketing teams to deliver 24/7 content across streaming and cable platforms. Highlights of my journey include earning an Emmy nomination for technical achievement in launching our digital platform in 2022 and receiving local magazine recognition for the success of my event décor business.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was to start before everything feels perfect. I learned the importance of putting my work out there—creating content, building a social media presence, and taking initiative—because opportunities often come from being visible and consistent. Managers and businesses are watching, and starting now can open doors you never expected.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to just start—take action on your ideas and don’t wait for the perfect moment. Put yourself out there, stay authentic, and trust that being genuine and consistent will help you grow and stand out in your career.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are putting God first, being versatile, and staying true to myself. These principles guide my decisions, fuel my creativity, and help me remain grounded and authentic in everything I do.
