About Khadijah
Khadijah AbdulAzeez began her professional journey in 2017 as a peer specialist after experiencing a manic episode related to bipolar disorder that led to hospitalization. Motivated by her own lack of prior knowledge about mental health, she pursued certification as a peer specialist to coach others through similar challenges. In 2020, she published her first book, Makeup for Your Soul, which explores her childhood trauma, mental health journey, healing, and faith as a Muslim woman. She also leads the RAIN Project, a cohort program where she teaches groups of women skills for building their lives and cultivating inner and outer beauty. With a background that includes high school completion and some college, Khadijah focuses on mental health peer support, author coaching, and women's life building while pursuing opportunities to expand her brand and community connections.
