Her Interview
Ten minutes with Khristah
01What do you attribute your success to?
I really have a heart for people, especially the elderly. During my tenure in the healthcare industry, I've met a lot of people from all walks of life whom I feel that at times, don’t have much knowledge, or family support to help them conduct their own life planning affairs or advocate for them, and they've inspired me to just pretty much continue to do what I'm doing, because I'm doing it as a service. And I truly believe in servicing people to the best of my ability.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Keep your options open. Go after what you desire, and never settle for anything less than what you deserve.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Make sure that you enjoy what you’re getting into. Financial freedom is important, but you have to have passion for what you do. It makes the job worthwhile.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
With my unique combination of clinical background, administrative experience, and upcoming management degree, I believe that I am exceptionally positioned to step into high-impact leadership roles that shape how patient care is delivered.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Balance is key across the board in all aspects of life. Without balance, you will find that everything is affected negatively and will eventually become a major issue that will open up the door for negativity.
