Her Interview
Ten minutes with Khushbu
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my constant desire to learn, grow, and embrace new challenges. Technology is always evolving, and I believe staying curious, adapting to change, and continuously expanding my knowledge are essential to long-term success. I also value sharing what I learn with others, because collaboration and knowledge exchange help everyone grow.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received was from a previous manager who encouraged me not to become limited by my current role or responsibilities. If I wanted to grow, I needed to avoid working in a silo and instead look at the bigger picture—understanding what the organization is doing, what the industry is moving toward, and how companies are evolving. Taking that broader perspective has helped me become a more strategic and effective leader.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is to embrace change, especially when it comes to new technology, and never let uncertainty hold you back. Continue developing your skills, explore ideas independently, and demonstrate your commitment to lifelong learning. If you have a great idea, don’t wait for someone else to bring it to life—continue building, innovating, and finding ways to scale your vision.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities and challenges in my field right now is the rapid growth of artificial intelligence. AI product management is still a developing space, and we are navigating new questions and challenges as they emerge. This creates an opportunity to innovate, solve complex problems, and build solutions that address real needs.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me are customer obsession, continuous learning, humility, and honesty. I believe in building solutions that solve real customer problems and creating products that people truly value. Listening to customer feedback is essential to continuous improvement. I also prioritize staying curious about new technologies, industry trends, and how organizations are adapting. Remaining humble and honest—with myself and with others—helps me stay grounded and continue growing.
