Kia McNeill is an accomplished program manager and technology leader with nearly three decades of experience delivering complex information technology, infrastructure, and business transformation initiatives. As Program Manager at ALCI Solutions and founder of Another Level Consulting LLC, she specializes in project management, strategic planning, IT training, marketing, and emerging artificial intelligence consulting. Throughout her career, McNeill has successfully led large-scale, mission-critical programs within government contracting environments, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, cross-functional teams, and enterprise-wide initiatives that drive operational excellence and organizational success.
A graduate of Bowie State University, McNeill earned both her bachelor's degree in business and a master's degree in management. She has built an impressive portfolio of professional credentials, including Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Security+, and several other industry-recognized certifications. 01What do you attribute your success to?
Definitely the way that I was raised. My parents my true role models, very business-minded, again, traditional, but still business-minded, and I grew up in those footsteps of business was handled properly and successfully.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering this industry to stay curious, embrace every opportunity to learn, and never stop investing in their personal and professional growth. Success comes from being adaptable, building meaningful relationships, and being willing to evolve as technology and industries continue to change.
Networking is one of the most valuable investments you can make in your career. Build authentic connections, get involved in professional organizations, and seek out mentors who can help you grow. Most importantly, lead with a spirit of service. Share your knowledge, support others, and help people achieve their goals—because the impact you make on others will become your greatest legacy.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenges is exposure... networking is pivotal and big for me... find those opportunities, find the organizations that will assist you in providing networking with others
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I'm faith-based, so that's my first. Is giving honor to the Creator. People have had a very strong will to succeed... having integrity... can trust you, but know that you're going to do what you set out to do
