Kiana Waits, PDM, CTA, is a dynamic marketing and communications professional with over a decade of experience in the media and marketing industry. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Henderson State University in 2019 and went on to pursue a Master of Arts in Media and Popular Culture. Her expertise spans public relations, radio and broadcast journalism, graphic design, branding, and video production, making her a versatile and innovative force in the marketing world.
Throughout her career, Kiana has contributed to a wide range of organizations, including the Arkansas Medical, Dental, and Pharmaceutical Association, The Arkansas Razorbacks, City Serve Arkansas, and The Venture Center. She currently serves as the Public Relations Manager for the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau and as a Marketing Coordinator for BreachBits. In addition, she dedicates her time to community engagement as a Chamber Ambassador for the Little Rock Regional Chamber, leveraging her skills to strengthen local initiatives and promote business growth.
Kiana’s creativity, leadership, and faith-driven approach fuel her passion for making a meaningful impact on her community and the brands she represents. She is also an active mentor and advisor, serving on the Digital Media Program Advisory Board at Henderson State University, where she supports the next generation of media professionals. Through her work, Kiana continues to inspire others to pursue excellence while fostering innovation and connection in every project she undertakes.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in my field right now stem from government shutdowns and economic fluctuations, which can impact operations. At the same time, the opportunities for growth and networking are virtually limitless.

The value that is most important to me in both my work and personal life is my faith.
