About Kianna

Kianna Ferris is the Assistant Sales Manager for Dealer Aspire, where she leads sales efforts in custom website development and design for dealerships in power sports, marine, agriculture, outdoor power, RVs, trailers, heavy trucks, and forklifts. Her career in sales began with a position in car sales that prompted a move from Oregon to Nebraska. After two years, she returned to Oregon seeking better work-life balance and joined Dealer Aspire, advancing rapidly to her leadership position by tripling the sales board performance. Ferris credits her professional achievements to strong interpersonal abilities, including being personable and confident enough to initiate conversations with anyone, combined with a solid work ethic and support from family and faith. She advises aspiring sales professionals, particularly young women, to persist through initial challenges, build a book of business through consistent daily effort, and recognize that there is no ceiling on earnings in sales.

Ten minutes with Kianna

01What do you attribute your success to?

My people skills is a huge part of it. I'm very personable, I'm confident. I could spark a conversation with anybody. Work ethic. Family support and faith.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Your paycheck doesn't determine your lifestyle. Your lifestyle determines how much money you'll make in the sales world. Never stop yourself from buying what you want because you know you'll make the money to afford it.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't give up. It can be a lot when you're getting started in a sales role, but you have to build your book of business. If you really show up to work every single day, you are controlling how much money you're bringing in. There's no roof. You can push as hard as you want.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Family and religion. I'm Christian, so that's been a huge value of mine. Knowing that at the end of the day God is going to figure it out and what's meant to happen will happen.
