About Kiersten
Kiersten Priddy is an ambitious business student, emerging sales professional, and servant leader currently pursuing dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Agribusiness at the University of Arkansas, while also completing a minor in Spanish. An Honors College student and certified Social Media Marketing professional, she combines strong analytical abilities with exceptional interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships and create value for organizations and communities. Her academic interests span finance, agricultural business, commercial real estate, and sales, reflecting her commitment to developing a well-rounded foundation for a future business career. Professionally, Kiersten serves as a Sales Intern with a State Farm agency led by Philip Pool in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In this role, she supports sales and client relationship initiatives through customer outreach, insurance quoting, and relationship management. Her internship has provided valuable experience in communication, sales strategy, and customer service while strengthening her confidence and resilience. Additionally, she has gained exposure to the commercial real estate industry through mentorship and job-shadowing opportunities with Colliers, where she observed brokerage, leasing, and investment sales operations. Her strengths in networking, public speaking, and relationship-building have also allowed her to engage with students and community groups, sharing insights on leadership, involvement, and professional development. Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Kiersten is actively involved in campus leadership, community service, and agricultural organizations. She serves as a Panhellenic Relations Specialist for Alpha Delta Pi, a member of the University of Arkansas New Greek Council, and an Honors Student Ambassador. Her dedication to service is demonstrated through volunteer work with organizations such as Ronald McDonald House and Letters of Love Global. A recipient of multiple honors, including Outstanding New Member of the Year and the Grassmanship Scholarship, Kiersten is guided by the belief that the best leaders are the best servants. Whether she is training for a half marathon, learning golf, studying Spanish, or pursuing new professional opportunities, she remains committed to continuous growth, integrity, and making a meaningful impact in every endeavor.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I would have to say my family's been extremely supportive. They push me, and they see the potential I have, even when I don't know I have it.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
If you want to be a fast runner, run with people who are faster than you.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Stand in the right room at the right time. Creating your own luck, is key. Every time you abandon your comfort zone you are increasing your odds at being successful.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I think the key thing about what I do to be successful, especially from a business professional point of view, would be to network. For some people, that can be intimidating, but I think the reason I thrive in what I do is because I love networking. It can be challenging, but it's what I've voluntarily practiced overcoming to get where I am today.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide both my professional and personal communication are integrity and servanthood. I believe that meaningful relationships are built on trust, mutual respect, and willingness to support each other.
