Her Story
About kim
I started off in health, thinking that was the purpose I was created for, helping people. I discovered a couple of years ago that it was much more than God was calling me to do. I began as a minister, then two years later as an elder, and two years later as a pastor. I've been pastoring for the last 10 years in ministry. My passion for the people is wanting them to see themselves the way God sees them and to walk and fulfill the purpose that God has created them for. My passion is to push people in the right direction, letting them know that what they went through, the process and the pain, was necessary to prepare them for their purpose. I now have my own ministry out in Bashery. I also do outreach and give back to the community. I look for ways that I can educate and enhance the learning in God's people by giving the Word of God and also the resources that they need to help them live a healthy and happier life. I partner with Xavier University to educate on the well-being and health of our community that we serve. I constantly engage in community activities and provide resources and learning materials to enhance the body of Christ through knowledge.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with kim
01What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
In this season, I can say yes, people are wanting to know the truth. They're hungry for the Word, and most of them are sick and tired of being in the same spot, being stuck and stagnated where they are now, and just believing to see change come. People want to know the truth and they're hungry for the Word of God.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I want people to know that no matter what you go through in this life, that God has a purpose and a plan for you. You can become all that God has created you to be if you just trust and believe in the Word of God and keep the faith. God will bring that thing to pass and manifest all of His promises that He promised to you. I want to see people coming together, walking together in faith, trusting and believing God, knowing that nothing is too hard for God to do in this season. Just loving more, being more compassionate, and living out your purpose. I love family and spending time with my family. I love the elders and helping them, whether it's just helping them clean or taking them to the store. I enjoy my grandkids and thank God that I'm here to see it all manifest.
