Kim Marie Farris

Kim Farris is a writer, director, and screenwriter based in Los Angeles, California. She has been writing since high school and published her first book, a collection of poetry titled The Leaking Heart, in 2019. Farris released her second poetry book, The Heart Still Beats, which explores themes from the COVID period, and is currently working on her third book in the series. In addition to her writing, she directed and produced a web series approximately ten years ago and is now in pre-production for a horror film. Farris holds a media arts certificate in broadcasting from San Diego City and Los Angeles Valley, where she gained experience in production, radio broadcasting, and voiceover work. She is a member of Women in Publishing and aspires to establish her own publishing company.
