About Kim
Kim Nolan is an experienced operations professional currently serving as Operations Manager at Piper Learning, an EdTech company focused on hands-on STEM, computer science, and creative learning experiences. Based in San Francisco, she brings a diverse background spanning operations, customer service, technical support, training, and project management. Her career also includes experience as a Help Desk Specialist, Exam Administrator/Trainer, and Real Estate Assistant.
At Piper Learning, Kim oversees operational processes including warehouse management, product assembly, inventory, quality assurance, logistics, and customer support. She has contributed to the company’s growth by helping transition operations into a larger warehouse and developing efficient systems for assembling products containing numerous components. Her interdisciplinary education at Miami University of Ohio, combined with her background in fine and studio arts, supports her practical, creative approach to problem-solving and team development.
Kim is also passionate about creating inclusive and supportive workplaces where individuals can contribute their strengths and develop meaningful skills. Her experience working with employment development initiatives has shaped her commitment to helping people who may face barriers to traditional employment find opportunities to succeed. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to five years in edtech, creating learning experiences that build confidence and inspire future creators. I’m also passionate about helping people in my community develop skills and return to the workforce, while supporting STEM initiatives, animal welfare, customer relations, onboarding, technical problem-solving, and operational logistics.
