Kim Shivers is a mission-driven leader, community connector, and strategic thinker with decades of experience spanning philanthropy, public relations, marketing, and business ownership. Throughout her career, she has cultivated long-lasting, mission-focused relationships with nonprofits, civic leaders, and community members, designing and implementing programs that address systemic issues and create equitable opportunities for youth, adults, and families. Her dedication to meaningful impact has positioned her as a trusted leader in both organizational and community settings.
A lifelong learner, Kim recently earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership/People Development from Rider University, deepening her expertise in team building, leadership, and employee engagement. Her academic work, including a thesis on the lived experience of valued employees, informs her approach to coaching and consulting, emphasizing empathy, empowerment, and practical strategies for fostering inclusive and effective workplace environments.
Currently, Kim is the Founder and CEO of Value Your People Consulting, where she partners with employees and leaders at all levels to transform workplace culture and unlock individual potential. She is also actively involved in faith-based and nonprofit organizations, serving on boards such as the Albert Baker Fund and supporting programs that uplift young people and families. Kim’s leadership is defined by her commitment to empowering others, nurturing human potential, and blending professional expertise with deep personal values.
