What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of tenacity, curiosity, and hard work. I approach challenges with persistence, a desire to learn, and a commitment to giving my best in everything I do.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Some of the best career advice I’ve received is to be truly authentic and embrace the full range of experiences I bring to the table. Rather than narrowing or simplifying my skills to fit a niche, I’ve learned that people value flexibility, perspective, patience, and adaptability. By showcasing how I contribute across multiple domains, disciplines, and teams, I present a more complete picture of my capabilities. It’s not about presenting myself in a way I think others will find most attractive—it’s about aligning with opportunities and people that truly resonate. While it may take time for the right connections to find you, when they do, the alignment feels natural and effortless.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering this industry to approach everything with curiosity and to prioritize active listening. Observing, paying attention, and asking thoughtful questions about your environment are fundamental skills for anyone in user experience, product management, or design engineering. Equally important is reflection—regularly asking yourself how you would have liked an experience or process to be can guide better decisions and innovations. Listening and taking action are not mutually exclusive; in fact, they complement each other and are at the heart of effective leadership and design.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is managing time effectively to balance the many responsibilities that come with the role. Prioritizing tasks, staying organized, and focusing on what drives the most impact are essential skills. At the same time, this challenge presents an opportunity to develop stronger time management strategies, improve efficiency, and create systems that support both personal productivity and team success.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values to me in both my work and personal life center around support, impact, and meaningful contribution. In my work, this means ensuring that the end user feels seen, valued, and supported—that our products or services truly make their lives easier, more fulfilling, or more purposeful. In life, I carry the same principle, striving to positively impact those around me, help lighten their burdens, and create value in every interaction.
