Her Story
About Kimberly
Kimberly Goodnight founded Media Playground PR in 2003 and serves as its leader while also acting as editor-in-chief of Goodnight Magazine. With over 30 years of experience in public relations, she specializes in fashion, lifestyle, and celebrity PR, primarily through product placement in editorials, brand features, red carpet events, and influencer placements. Goodnight earned her degree in Fashion Marketing and International Business from Woodbury University in Burbank, California. Her career path included studio services at iMagnon in Beverly Hills, followed by operating Pure Consulting as a DBA. She later partnered with Eric Martin of the Park Showroom to combine wholesale and PR services, which led to the creation of Media Playground PR. The firm supports brands by amplifying visibility and consumer confidence through strategic placements. Operations, once based in downtown Los Angeles, are now conducted remotely on an appointment basis, with shoots produced locally but featured internationally. Beyond her professional work, Goodnight participates in the Growth Sector nonprofit, which provides an Engineering Degree Apprenticeship pathway (EDAP) for underrepresented students pursuing education, internships, apprenticeships, and careers in engineering.
