Her Story

About Kimberly

I have been working since the early 90s starting as a kindergarten and first grade teacher. I moved to Silicon Valley in the late 90s during the dot-com boom and got a job as assistant to the CFO at Tibco Software a publicly traded company. I also worked in education sales and publishing then returned to teaching for another decade. Most recently I founded Sunshine Girls a nonprofit woman-owned boutique thrift store that gives back to women with rare and invisible diseases through upcycled higher-end thrifted items sold via Instagram and soon a brick-and-mortar location.
