Her Interview
Ten minutes with Kimberly
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the incredible leadership and supportive colleagues I have had throughout my career. Their guidance, encouragement, and commitment to creating a positive work environment have played a significant role in helping me grow and achieve my goals.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to believe in myself and step outside my comfort zone by taking on challenges I never thought I could accomplish. Embracing opportunities like public speaking, despite my initial fears, has helped me build confidence and grow both personally and professionally.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to embrace challenges and pursue opportunities that may feel outside their comfort zone. Never underestimate the value of your voice, continue investing in yourself, and have the confidence to take up space—whether that means speaking up or sitting at the front of the room.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in my field right now include navigating a changing job market and recognizing the potential in candidates who may not have traditional technical qualifications but possess valuable skills and capabilities. At the same time, artificial intelligence presents a significant opportunity, as it can enhance efficiency and support decision-making while complementing, rather than replacing, human judgment.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authenticity is the value I hold most important in both my work and personal life. I believe in staying true to myself, building genuine connections, and approaching every situation with honesty and integrity.
