Kimberly Hetrick

Kimberly is a seasoned technology professional and business development leader with more than three decades of experience helping organizations navigate innovation, connectivity, and digital transformation. She began her career in the technology sector in the late 1980s, co-founding a computer services business and later helping build one of Central Pennsylvania’s largest wireless broadband networks. As a leader in the emerging broadband industry, she contributed to Pennsylvania’s broadband planning initiatives and played a key role in expanding network access across a 5,000-square-mile service area, supporting schools and communities through E-rate-funded connectivity programs.

Throughout her career, Hetrick has demonstrated an ability to adapt alongside the rapidly evolving technology landscape. Following her entrepreneurial success in wireless networking, she held leadership roles in web development, digital marketing, software services, and technology consulting. Her experience spans customer engagement, business strategy, infrastructure planning, and technology adoption across both public and private sectors. She also contributed to innovative wireless networking ventures and worked closely with organizations throughout Pennsylvania to implement software and technology solutions that improved operational efficiency and service delivery.

Today, Kimberly serves as a Business Development Manager at Connection and is a member of the company’s Helix AI and Robotics team, where she helps clients modernize their IT environments through artificial intelligence, hybrid infrastructure, endpoint security, and cloud technologies. Working alongside account managers and technology specialists, she assists organizations in architecting secure data solutions, developing technology roadmaps, and aligning emerging technologies with business goals. A graduate of The Catholic University of America with a background in Computer Science and Psychology, Kimberly continues to invest in professional development through advanced certifications in cloud security, AI, and emerging technologies, while maintaining active memberships in industry organizations such as ISC2 and the Cloud Security Alliance.
