Kimberly IrvinLee serves as Senior Director at the Urban League of Greater Atlanta, a role she has held since joining the organization in 2007 after transitioning from corporate America and higher education. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, she leads a team focused on nonprofit entrepreneurship and economic development, assisting underserved entrepreneurs with coaching, capital readiness, and innovative strategies to prevent business failure and promote sustainable growth. Originally from Akron, Ohio, IrvinLee draws motivation from observing entrepreneurs progress from uncertainty to confidence by applying advice and achieving success, which in turn inspires her to generate new ideas and motivate her team to share impactful stories. She has been with the Urban League for 20 years and remains passionate about creating platforms and resources that empower small businesses.

My drive comes from watching entrepreneurs move from uncertainty to confidence and success by taking advice and improving their businesses. I get excited seeing success stories come to fruition and motivating my team to share those stories. I wake up every day thinking about what we can do next, how to do it better, and how to build something better for the entrepreneurs we serve.
