Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to empathy, persistence, strong communication skills, and an unwavering belief in people’s potential. Throughout my career, I have consistently excelled by building trust, listening deeply, and advocating for others—whether in the classroom, in enrollment advising, or within sales environments.

My expertise spans education, enrollment advising, sales, student advocacy, and relationship-based consulting. Having worked as a high school English and drama teacher, an enrollment advisor supporting students in higher education, and a sales and events professional, I have developed a unique ability to guide individuals through pivotal academic and career decisions.

With over 30 years of combined professional experience, my career reflects longevity, adaptability, and a sustained impact across multiple fields. I take pride in creating meaningful connections, supporting growth, and helping others reach their full potential.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received came from several supportive managers and mentors throughout my journey, particularly during my time working with Tony Robbins. Their guidance, training, and encouragement helped me build confidence, refine my skills, and thrive in high-performance environments. I learned the importance of mentorship, continuous growth, and believing in my own potential.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to trust yourself, advocate for others, and pursue work that aligns with your values. I believe in the power of resilience and continuous learning, and I encourage choosing paths that allow you to make a meaningful impact while finding personal fulfillment. Find work that you love and choose that as your career. If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life!

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I see in education today is navigating bureaucratic systems that can limit support for students, especially those who are non-English-speaking. At the same time, I see tremendous opportunity in expanding access to education, providing mentorship, and offering relationship-driven guidance—areas where compassionate professionals can make a lasting and meaningful difference in students’ lives.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are integrity, advocacy, growth, and recognizing effort. I am committed to doing meaningful work that serves others, standing up for fairness, and celebrating accomplishments—especially for women whose contributions are often overlooked. I approach life with reflection and a sense of humor, even poking fun at my tendency to overthink. My passions for personal growth, education, and building meaningful connections shape the way I engage with both my professional and personal life.
