About Kimberly
Community engagement and student-support leader with 10+ years of experience building programs that strengthen families, schools, and underserved communities. Currently a Connection Coordinator with Volunteers of America, partnering with school staff and community providers to deliver in-school and after-school supports, coordinate interventions for at-risk students, lead family engagement, and track outcomes through student data. Previously served as Engagement Director at the Multi-Cultural Center Sioux Falls, leading community-building strategies, stakeholder partnerships, and cultural-competence education. Earlier roles include Chaplain, providing crisis and pastoral care within institutional settings, and Executive Director positions focused on nonprofit leadership, victim advocacy and aftercare for survivors of human trafficking, communications, fundraising, and staff development. Holds advanced degrees in Divinity/Ministry from Bakke Graduate University and Sioux Falls Seminary.
