Kimberly Martel is a highly experienced Senior Cost Analyst at Danfoss Power Solutions, where she manages cost accounting for multiple global manufacturing plants. With over 20 years in the manufacturing finance sector, Kimberly brings deep expertise in analyzing operations, equipment utilization, budgeting, and full-cycle cost accounting. She is proficient in SAP and specializes in areas such as scrap, warranty, COPQ, CAPEX analysis, and financial planning to drive operational efficiency and site performance. Known for her high energy, focus, and positive attitude, Kimberly is committed to delivering accurate financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

Kimberly began her career at Intertech Plastics, where she advanced from an accounts payable clerk to assistant controller over a span of nearly two decades. During her tenure, she honed her skills in general accounting, month-end close, budget monitoring, and audit preparation, while also gaining experience in payroll, tax compliance, and margin analysis. Her dedication to continuous learning and professional growth has allowed her to thrive in complex financial environments and take on increasingly responsible roles across the manufacturing industry.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Kimberly is deeply engaged in her community. She has volunteered with organizations such as Mile High United Way, Goodwill Industries of Denver, and Denver Public Schools’ business mentoring program, supporting education and community development initiatives. Passionate about mentorship and teamwork, she emphasizes the value of learning from others and sharing her own experiences to guide the next generation of finance professionals.
