Kimberly Moody

I am an author and events professional with a passion for creating memorable experiences and sharing stories that inspire and connect. Since October 2021, I have been a published book author, writing under my name Kimberly Purnell Moody, where I have had the opportunity to share my voice, insights, and creativity with readers.

For over a decade, I worked at Belk, where I served as Special Events Coordinator for ten years, from November 2011 to January 2022, in the Greenville-Washington, North Carolina area. In this role, I coordinated all special events, including Girl's Night Out, Shoe Parties, Charity Sales, the 125th Anniversary Celebration, Kidfest, Santafest, and many more, providing excellent customer service to customers and vendors alike and ensuring that every event was executed with creativity, care, and attention to detail. I also served in the same capacity from November 2011 to November 2014, where I built the foundation for my events career by delivering exceptional experiences that strengthened customer loyalty and community engagement.

Across my career in events and authorship, my work has been driven by a love for bringing people together and creating moments that matter. Whether I am planning a large-scale retail event, writing a book, or connecting with readers, I believe in the power of storytelling and celebration to build community, inspire joy, and leave a lasting impact on everyone I touch.
