Ten minutes with Kimberly
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to having a strong baseline knowledge of the law and risk analysis, being able to talk the talk of the business, building strong relationships with operations teams, and approaching everything with compassion, kindness, and empathy because we are dealing with real people who make mistakes.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Find an advocate and sponsor who will put you at the table. It's okay to humble brag about your accomplishments. Network and get comfortable being uncomfortable, including taking a seat at the table as the only female and doing public speaking even if you fumble sometimes. Know your strengths and don't be afraid to say no.
