Kimberly Parry is a TEDx speaker, Burnout Transformation Expert, and Style-Driven Success Strategist who helps high-performing individuals and organizations turn burnout into a launchpad for next-level success. She is a rare breed—not your typical stylist. A jock in high school and a feminist in college, Kimberly had little interest in fashion and spent 16 years as a religion teacher before burnout completely upended her life in 2016. That year, she lost her marriage, her career, and nearly her life, living for months on a bed in her living room as she sought accurate diagnoses for what would later be identified as multiple rare chronic conditions.

Through this experience, Kimberly rebuilt her life and career from the ground up, refusing to follow social expectations or other people’s rules that had contributed to her burnout. She turned the tools, strategies, and resources she wished she had during her recovery into the foundation of her career, developing the Succeed with Style™ framework. This methodology combines personal development, leadership coaching, and fashion to provide practical tools for clarity, confidence, and sustainable performance. Her work equips individuals and organizations to address the root causes of burnout, build thriving cultures, and achieve success on their own terms.

With over 20 years of teaching, coaching, and speaking experience, Kimberly leverages her natural talent for taking complex concepts and making them simple and applicable. As a Certified Master Professional Coach and Certified Personal Stylist, she guides clients through her Signature Soul Style™ programs, keynotes, and workshops, helping them define their personal brand, own their leadership style, and succeed without sacrificing their well-being. Known as Your Real Life Fairy Godmother™, Kimberly inspires others to reconnect with their authentic selves, reclaim confidence, and embrace life fully, proving that burnout is not the end of the road but the beginning of transformation.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say take the advice, get the skill set, but know you don't have to follow rules that don't fit you. When I was trained in menswear, the first thing the guy said is that there is an ideal body shape for men, but no one knows because men don't care. So your job as a personal stylist is to know the rules so you can help them break them. I said, amen, huzzah, why are we not saying the same thing to women? To a young woman entering the career, take the advice, get the skill set, but no, you don't have to follow rules that don't fit you.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I think in the AI world, where our humanity is our differentiator, I actually think it's an incredible opportunity that we're in right now. A lot of people misunderstand both personal branding and style, and your style is how you show up in the world. We battle hundreds of years of cultural ideation, and women burn out at higher rates than men. That's when we start to become imitators instead of innovators with our style, and that's where burnout begins. It begins years before the symptoms hit, but we get trained to show up a certain way, do things a certain way, follow certain patterns.
