Her Story

About Kimberly

Kimberly Prince is a nonprofit leader, community builder, and relationship development professional serving as Director of New Donors, Nashville, at Pink Ribbon Good. As the organization’s first Nashville employee, she works closely with leadership to expand its presence throughout Middle Tennessee, develop community partnerships, raise awareness, and strengthen support for individuals and families affected by cancer. Her work is focused on building meaningful connections and helping ensure that people navigating cancer do not have to face the experience alone.

Before transitioning into the nonprofit sector, Kimberly built more than 20 years of experience in sales, recruiting, business development, and relationship management. Her career includes leadership and recruiting roles with Amazon, THREAD research, Outlook Amusements, and ConsultNet, as well as experience in technology, human resources, real estate, and corporate sales. Known for her communication, relationship-building, and strategic growth skills, she has consistently developed partnerships, managed high-performing pipelines, and connected organizations with the talent, customers, and supporters needed to achieve their goals.

Kimberly holds a degree in Communications with an emphasis in Interpersonal and Organizational Studies and a minor in Psychology from California State University, Chico, where she also played soccer. Her professional strengths include community building, relationship development, partnerships, networking, fundraising, sales management, and community outreach. At Pink Ribbon Good, one of her notable accomplishments has been helping launch Nashville’s Survivor Celebration, bringing survivors, caregivers, healthcare partners, donors, and community supporters together. Beyond her professional work, Kimberly remains engaged in community and volunteer initiatives and is passionate about using her experience and relationships to create meaningful, lasting impact.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice is to build strong relationships, stay curious, and immerse yourself in your passion. Find a mentor, lean on your community, and put yourself out there even when it feels uncomfortable. Growth takes time, so be patient and embrace the hard things along the way.
