Kimberly Reaves, LMT, CMLDT is a highly experienced Licensed Massage Therapist with over 25 years of dedicated service in the field. In 2008, she earned certification as a Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist, specializing in supporting clients experiencing acute and chronic pain from surgeries, lymphedema, lipedema, and other life challenges. Kimberly combines her extensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology with a deep understanding of the mind-body connection, providing holistic care that addresses both physical and emotional well-being.

As the owner and lead therapist at North Florida Post Op Care, Kimberly creates a healing environment that incorporates massage, scar tissue therapy, cupping, gua sha, pre- and post-operative care, and red light therapy. Her work supports patients recovering from cancer, cosmetic, dental, orthopedic, plastic, and reconstructive surgeries. She intuitively guides clients to release pent-up emotions, memories, and limiting beliefs, fostering growth and improved quality of life on mental, physical, and spiritual levels.

Kimberly’s specialties extend to holistic health coaching, trauma education, therapeutic cupping, The BodyTalk System, Quantum Touch, Pranic Healing, and Access Consciousness/Bars. She is recognized for her expertise in trauma-informed care, mind-body integration, and personalized therapeutic approaches that empower clients to heal at a deeper level. Throughout her career, Kimberly has been a passionate advocate for professional development in massage therapy, including leadership roles with the Florida State Massage Therapy Association, where she contributed to advancing education and awareness in North Florida.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering my industry to embrace a mindset of continuous learning and self-discovery. Learn as much as you can about your craft, and take the time to explore the mind-body connection, as understanding both is essential for holistic growth. Listen to your internal voice and trust your instincts introspection is a powerful tool for learning and personal development. Most importantly, nurture a strong relationship with yourself and become your own best friend; self-awareness and self-compassion will guide you through challenges and help you thrive both professionally and personally.

The value that is most important to me in both my work and personal life is honesty.
